I’ve been working a lot lately getting a condo rehabilitated from renters and ready to sell, which means lots of music on the ol pandora. I heard both of these songs today and had time to ponder their messages. Just a little something to ruminate on.

A little more melancholy, but still great. One of my favorite songs:

yeah, there is a lot of subtext to the authors but more than anything it was just the themes of who should take on the problems of the world:

Its me

vs

someone else broke it, its not my fault.

My favorite sorts of lyrics deal with personal problems. Probably the angsty teenager in me. I’m not a fan of political commentary, simply because I hate politics in general.
